Voices (1973)
Director: Kevin Billington
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Hemmings and Hunnicutt arrive at their auntie's dilapidated mansion; she (brooding over the death of their son) hears ghostly voices, he (brooding over his failure as a writer) doesn't. That's about all there is to it. There's a surprise twist ending, but its impact is somewhat reduced by the one-and-a-half hours of circuitous chit-chat that's gone before. Based on a play by Richard Lortz, it's staggeringly boring (and blatantly illogical into the bargain).Author:
