From Time Out Film Guide

It's a dark and stormy night when a high school class reassembles in the now deserted classrooms of their alma mater. A murder is committed, and a mysterious doctor appears announcing that it's 'all about...mental illness'. A psychopath is lurking in the shadowy corridors of Lizzie Borden High: wimpish Walter seeking revenge upon his old classmates for a cruel joke once played on him. The characterisations and jokes remain as hackneyed as the plot and as primary as the film's garish colours.
