Limp Rank thriller from Jon Cleary's novel The High Commissioner, with Taylor as the Aussie cop who tracks the eponymous diplomat (Plummer) to London to investigate his first wife's murder, and finds himself involved in a political assassination intrigue. A lamentable waste of a good cast.
