The November Plan (1976)
Director: Don Medford
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Occasionally interesting private eye thriller, set in '30s LA, with Rogers investigating the murder of a starlet's lover and uncovering a plot to overthrow Roosevelt's government. With the film cobbled out of three episodes of a TV series called City of Angels, the weakly wisecracking, sub-Chandleresque script poses problems, as does Rogers' bland performance. But the political insights are intriguing in their tentative equation of the more conservative elements in American society with similar tendencies in Fascist Italy.Author: GA
