Movie review

From Time Out Film Guide

Sequel to Thomas Heggen's long-running play Mister Roberts which, in the film version at least, coasted along largely on the strength of fine performances from Cagney, Lemmon and William Powell. The substitute cast taking over here is competent enough, but the script has nothing whatsoever to add, and soon runs out of invention in trying to prolong the feud between the ship's crew and its martinet captain.
