Eyes in the Night (1942)
Director: Fred Zinnemann
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Zinnemann's second film, from Baynard Kendrick's novel Odor of Violets, is a minor but jolly slice of ingenious sleuthery with Arnold as a blind detective whose dog Friday helps him clear up the mystery that may connect the death of Harding's old flame Emery, a Nazi spy ring and the involvement of her scientist husband. The result's a spruce little MGM second feature, neatly worked out within its limits.Author: TJ
