Movie review

From Time Out Film Guide

The easy rider exchanges motorbike for horse, but the tempo rarely rises above a trot in this clod-hopping Western. Fonda is a gambler. When he wins cowgirl Brooke Shields in a poker game, he's obliged to take her along in his search for gold. Perhaps bent on some oedipal revenge trip, the director/star casts his more illustrious father in a thankless bit-part as a bearded old loon of a prospector - it was the only time these two Fondas worked together.
