War of the Satellites (1958)
Director: Roger Corman
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
In which Dick Miller hushes the United Nations, saves the world, and wins Ms Cabot in mid-space. In which alien-controlled scientist Devon walks off in two directions at once. In which Corman himself is glimpsed auteuristically knob-twiddling at Mission Control. Compared to which even The Outer Limits looks opulent. Which is no surprise for a flick started the day after Sputnik was launched, and on-screen only eight weeks later. Cheap, but very cheerful.Author: PT
