The Whole Nine Yards (2000)
Director: Jonathan Lynn
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Hitman Jimmy 'the Tulip' Tudesk (Willis clad in a white vest) flees to Canada with a contract on his head and moves next door to debt-ridden dentist Nicholas 'Oz' Oseransky (Perry). Oz is persuaded to grass on Jimmy for an all-important finder's fee. Meanwhile, Oz's ex-wife (Arquette) seeks the services of any available assassin to do away with Oz for his hefty life insurance. Hilarious double-cross capers ensue, but this popcorn comedy misses the dark humour and cynicism of a genre gem like Grosse Point Blank by a country mile.Author: AL
