Movie review

From Time Out Film Guide

Susan Hayward is a widow attempting to run a farm on the rugged plains of Canada. Boyd is the handsome hobo she falls in love with and eventually marries. Conditions are pretty bad - cyclones, blizzards, forest fires - and their relationship is on the stormy side too. It's up to Hayward to rid her new husband of his wife-beating, child-abusing tendencies, and to remould him as a decent cowboy. Hathaway made some fine Westerns, but this 'Scope epic wasn't one of them.
