From Time Out Film Guide

To a backwoods Puerto Rican apartment complex comes Dance's Quinn, who lies his way into a job as janitor, befriends a tenant's ten-year-old daughter, and becomes murderously heavy with anyone who gets in his way. Much of this is nonsense of the OTT sort, but Herrero certainly gives it a patina of style, and here and there it almost works. Indeed, as a schlocky psycho-thriller, it's not unwatchable, helped out by some decent performances and a nice sense of milieu. Trashy but, for the most part, fun.
