Barely passable spy thriller in which Brynner's CIA agent is lured to Europe in search of his son (reported dead) and finds himself abducted by the Commies, who replace him with his double (Brynner again). The cast do their best (Brynner, Revill and Lister especially) to enliven the routine spy larks, while Denys Coop's camerawork makes an elegant picture postcard spread of the Tyrolean Alps.
