Dreamer (1979)
Director: Noel Nosseck
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Matheson's the dewy-eyed idealist of the title, a handsome lad who hopes to make it big on the professional bowling circuit. Craggy old-timer Warden (who seems to be doing an impersonation of Burgess Meredith in Rocky) offers to coach him. Tim's girlfriend, Blakely, is dead set against his choice of career, but if he knocks down enough skittles, he's sure to win her round. Not much polish on this particular ball.Author: GM
