The October Man (1947)
Director: Roy Baker
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Good old amnesia has another outing, with Mills as a murder suspect none too sure of his own innocence when a model (Walsh) to whom he has lent some money is found strangled, but eventually able to unmask the (glaringly obvious) real killer. Lethargically paced, stiffly scripted by Eric Ambler, the film's most attractive features are Joan Greenwood as the girl who believes in our hero, and the setting in a gently decaying hotel.Author: TM
