The Other Side of the Bed (2002)
Director: Emilio Temboury Martínez Lázaro
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Arch and predictable relationship comedy: Javier (Alterio) is having an affair with his best friend's girl (Verbeke), but when she leaves Pedro (Toledo), the pressure is on Javier to come clean and ditch Sonia (Vega). While the film purports to satirise its macho protagonist, it's way too complacent to make it stick - even if Alterio is pretty easy to dislike. In its one novel touch, the characters keep breaking into ballads.Author: TCh
