Our Relations (1936)
Director: Harry Lachman
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
The first of only two of their films produced by Stan Laurel - the other is Way Out West - Our Relations is a key Laurel and Hardy movie, polished in its production values and spared any interference from Hal Roach. Stan and Ollie play two respectable citizens confronted with their disreputable and irresponsible twin brothers in the most tightly plotted and structured of their films. Abounding in comic moments, it has been both praised as a masterpiece (by Borde and Perrin) and attacked (by Charles Barr) for being too neat and structured.Author: PH
