Imported leading lady Dukakis takes centre stage in this well-meaning but uninspired road movie. A 60-year-old widow flies back from America to stay with her daughter in Sydney. Unfortunately, the welcome there isn't as warm as she'd hoped, so she makes an escape with her granddaughter and heads off across country in a flashy '59 Chevvy.
