The File of the Golden Goose (1969)
Director: Sam Wanamaker
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Lots of red London buses and telephone boxes in this touristy-looking thriller from the scrag end of the Swinging London scene. Brynner's the American agent who hits Blighty in search of the gang of murderous counterfeiters who killed his girl, while Woodward is the decent British copper Scotland Yard insist on having in on the case. The movie's a bit of a plod too, though Gray enjoys himself as the chief villain.Author: TJ
