From Time Out Film Guide

One of a series in which film-makers from around the world were commissioned to mark the Millennium, Albaladejo's comedy takes place on the outskirts of Madrid on 31 December 1999. A social worker and his pregnant wife break down on the ring road on their way to her parents; her conservative father is carjacked, then, unknowingly, befriends the carjacker's girlfriend; meanwhile, three Germans get lost trying to find the Puerto del Sol, and so on. It's got a social conscience, and it's also unpretentious and funny.
