Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Set in Nazi infested Berlin, a ploddingly dull World War II Resistance drama, based on a true story. Bisset plays a German countess as good as she is beautiful, who studies veterinary medicine, joins the underground, saves hundreds of lives, and falls in love with the equally nice Prochnow who, being Jewish, is forced to play Anne Frank in the dark corners of Bisset's cramped apartments. Fassbinder would soon have set the lovers at each other's throats, but here they behave with unimpeachable forbearance and nobility.Author: SJo
