Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan (1989)
Director: Rob Hedden
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
For what it's worth (very little), probably the best in the series. Human threshing-machine Jason is scraped up from the bottom of Crystal Lake by the anchor of a passing pleasure boat and soon finds himself on a cruise to New York with a bunch of eminently scythable high school students. With more flair and less gore than the other eight, Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday brought matters to a grim conclusion four years later.Author: TJ
