Movie review

From Time Out Film Guide

Originally planned by MGM as an Astaire-Garland follow-up to Easter Parade, but Judy dropped out, thus opening the door for one last Fred'n'Ginger movie, ten years after their previous work together. It's a pretty flat affair, with a thin story about a married dancing couple splitting up when the woman decides to take up a straight acting career. But it does, of course, have its moments: Fred cavorting with 'Shoes with Wings On', and a happy ending accompanied by 'They Can't Take That Away from Me'.
