Battlestar Galactica (2000)
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Feature cobbled from the American TV series, complete with shots and effects repeated ad nauseam. Similar in plot and costume to Star Wars, but at heart a traditional space Western with less emphasis on droids and more on shootouts. Some good special effects, but with strictly tele-standard acting, straightforward space opera plot, grandiose sentiment and slushy love interest, it's really only meat for genre fans.Author: DP
