Billy Two Hats (1973)
Director: Ted Kotcheff
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Given that it was scripted by Alan Sharp, who wrote Penn's wonderful Night Moves and Aldrich's Ulzana's Raid, a disappointing attempt to merge serious statements about racial prejudice with a Western pursuit story. Peck is miscast as the ageing Scots outlaw who befriends a half-breed Indian (Arnaz), only to be hounded after a bank raid by Warden's ruthless, bigoted sheriff. Shot in Israel, it looks like Kotcheff was more interested in the scenery than in the characters.Author: GA
