Black Moon Rising (1985)
Director: Harley Cokliss
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Pulling a quick theft of a dodgy company's computer cassette for the Government, Jones then finds himself pursued by both company and Government, and hides the merchandise in the back of a passing car. The car can do an improbable 350 mph. Unfortunately it is stolen by a gang, so his task is to penetrate the impregnable lair of Vaughn's carnapping set-up. It all gets off to a cracking start, only to dwindle very rapidly into thin and predictable variations on the formulaic ploys. And Vaughn gives his usual performance of perfect menace, which suggests that he should be about to engage in world domination, not just nicking motors. CPea.Author: CPea
