Blue Fin (1978)
Director: Carl Schultz
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Boy's adventure material from the Storm Boy stable, with Rowe this time the son of tuna-fishing captain Kruger, eventually disproving his father's estimation of his unsuitability as a sailor by saving his boat and his life. The early fishing scenes are fascinating on a quasi-documentary level, but the yarn itself is too slight and predictable, even down to its routine tragedies and satirical digs at landlubbing poms.Author: PT
