Somewhere in South America, there's a country on the brink of chaos, a no-hope Hungarian recruited as an unwilling hit man, a popular politician called B. A simple, no frills thriller with an international cast and a rather bland international taste. The plot ticks over efficiently enough, and could be seen as a covert fable on fascist Spain, but it's mainly surprising as a conspicuous contrast to the later, much more poetic/fantastical 'new-wave' Spanish cinema.
