Movie review

From Time Out Film Guide

A classic example of a Hollywood director being struck down by a lethal 'art' attack as soon as he sets foot in Europe. Pacino's cripplingly introverted racing driver falls in love with dying heiress. Although Pollack at times seems to be struggling to avoid the obvious pitfalls, he ultimately wallows in all of them, making the characters and settings into something very like a prolonged Martini ad.
