Body Rock (1984)
Director: Marcelo Epstein
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
A breakdancing morality tale. Chilly D (Lamas), a singer/dancer from downtown New York, becomes the darling of a trendy niterie. He snubs his pals, throws over his nice girlfriend for a high-living rich bitch, and gets his comeuppance, before honest poverty and spontaneous street culture triumph over capricious uptown exploitation at a hijacked 'Rapstravaganza' event. Drearily reminiscent of a souped-up Marcel Marceau.Author: GA
