Movie review

From Time Out Film Guide

Not as sharp a satire on Hollywood as Kaufman and Hart's Once in a Lifetime, but a lively jibe all the same, with Cagney and O'Brien striking sparks off each other as the slap-happy screenwriters who decide to take their revenge on producer Bellamy and an arrogant cowboy star (Foran) by cooking up an ingenious, if unlikely, script for their next movie. Fast, funny and none too demanding.
