Butterfly (1981)
Director: Matt Cimber
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
A blatant vehicle for much-hyped sex symbol Zadora, who looks less like a backwoods baby doll than an ageing Barbie doll, and whose millionaire husband funded the film. Co-starring Keach as the long-lost Daddy who can't keep his hands off her, this is less an adaptation of James M Cain's novel than a grotesque parody of Tennessee Williams, and by the time the plot reaches its incest trial climax it is close to open farce, despite a pleasing cameo from Welles as the judge.Author: DP
