Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Archibugi returns to the family strife of her previous Mignon Has Left for this drama about a university professor (Mastroianni) whose life is turned upside-down when his young granddaughter and her free-wheeling mother (Bonnaire) take up residence in his house. He is forced to re-examine rigid priorities, but new-found affections prove more difficult to comprehend. Some scenes strain towards didacticism, but these are tempered by touching performances and the film's gentle exploration of love's restorative qualities.Author: CM
