A half-irritating, half-hilarious blend of comedy and con drama in which two very different American brothers (one black, one white) reunite in the French countryside in order to take over, then sell, a chateau left to them by a long-lost relative. But their naivety about France and their terrible French are only the start of their problems, as the servants prove reluctant to leave the crumbling manse that's housed them for so long - moreover, one staff member is rather attractive. Best when simply going for laughs, it's amiable enough if a mite over-stretched.
