Movie review

From Time Out Film Guide

Confusingly, not the Oscar Straus operetta based on Shaw's Arms and the Man, but an operetta using some of the Straus songs to decorate (because Shaw wanted too much money) Molnar's play The Guardsman. About a singing duo, with the husband arranging a backfiring plot to test his wife's fidelity, it is pleasant enough (though lethargic) if you can stand that sort of thing and the bovine Eddy.
