Coast to Coast (1980)
Director: Joseph Sargent
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Dire love-on-the-run frolic in which Cannon flees from the asylum where her nasty husband had her locked up, taking care to whack her shrink with a bust of Freud for his troubles. Hitting the road, she hooks up with trucker Blake, who's got his pedal to the metal because he's worried his rig is about to get repossessed. You'll not be remotely surprised as initial antipathy melts in shared adversity, but you may be disappointed that the two leads, who play off one another rather amiably, didn't have the benefit of more sparkling material.Author: TJ
