Movie review

From Time Out Film Guide

It's sad, 17 years on, to see the British horror film still seeking inspiration from Psycho...and still getting it all wrong. But that's not difficult when you confuse horror with the horrible. People don't just die in this film, they decay, slowly and unconvincingly. Unconvincing is the best word for a plot that has a perfectly respectable middle-aged couple driven to heights of murderous passion and lunacy by the filthy songs and lewd gyrations of a singer played by Jack Jones. Not even its brace of transvestite red herrings can help the story stand on its own feet.
