Come Next Spring (1955)
Director: RG Springsteen
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Slight but charming slice of rural Americana set in Arkansas and detailing the difficulties facing Cochran (reformed drunkard determined to prove himself) and his wife Sheridan as they try to make a go of their farm. A bit contrived in its incident, and never as tough or as moving as Renoir's superficially similar The Southerner; but Sheridan gives her all and breathes life into the proceedings, while Brennan is as reliable as ever.Author: GA
