Movie review

From Time Out Film Guide

One of Hollywood's better 'growing up' movies, this steers well clear of tear-jerker material by tracking the on-off juvenile romance of car-mad (post-Star Wars) Hamill and apprentice hooker Annie Potts through the neon glare of Las Vegas. He's lost his cherished customised Stingray and is gradually losing his illusions too, while she's lost her inhibitions a little too early for safety. 'Life's lessons' are pretty easy to take, though, when delivered in such a stylishly shaggy-dog fashion.
