From Time Out Film Guide

Scotland Yard man Sutton heads for Los Angeles to help the local force bring in a counterfeiting ring. Posing as a confidence trickster, he infiltrates Beaumont's gang, but romance with the alluring Merrick may prove not to be such a good idea after all. Passable support-slot thriller with horror star Chaney as one of the heavies.
