Movie review

From Time Out Film Guide

The US release title, Brotherly Love, better signalled the incestuous relationship at the core of this quirkily comic melodrama of emotional Highland flings (scripted by James Kennaway from his own novel). O'Toole's Scots aristocrat, obsessively possessive of married sister York, comes across as an outline first draft for his later role in The Ruling Class. The use of Irish landscapes as a stand-in for all the pastoral bits doesn't help much.
