A struggling actor (Baldwin) gets a job on 'Crimetime', a TV show reconstructing hideous recent killings. But when the murderer (Postlethwaite) arrives at a hiatus in his activities, it's a decisive moment for his small-screen counterpart: lose a nice little earner, or kill to continue the mayhem. A worthless London-set shocker purporting to comment on the values of the media.
