Likeable performances from Caine and MacLaine as the Cockney con-man and the Eurasian showgirl in Hong Kong who conspire to steal a priceless statue from Lom. But it's all pretty thin as the conventionally unconventional caper, involving cross and double-cross, veers erratically from comedy to thriller and back again to romance.
