Georgy Girl (1966)
Director: Silvio Narizzano
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Though tame by modern standards, this candid comedy of sexual manners in 'Swinging London' was considered bold for its day. Redgrave is a frumpy, unattractive dance teacher who is offered an escape from her loneliness by her ageing, married but amorous employer (Mason). Inevitably dated, yet often funny and sometimes surprisingly bleak. A nice cameo by Rampling, too, as Georgy's bitchy, sniping flatmate.Author: NF
