The Ghost of St Michael's (1941)
Director: Marcel Varnel
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Hay's first picture with Ealing stuck to a tried routine, with his seedy schoolmaster and boisterous pupils evacuated from the Blitz to a spooky castle on Skye where rebellious Hawtrey whisks up further mischief among his fellow students. Meanwhile, the rest of the plot (by Angus Macphail and John Dighton) works in a mystery bagpiper and the by now customary unmasking of a Nazi spy ring.Author: TJ
