Movie review

From Time Out Film Guide

Enterprising little feature from the Children's Film Foundation which told - but five years earlier- precisely the same story as Spielberg's E.T. The extraterrestrial (a metal sphere) is insufficiently characterised and the adults are a drag, but it's neat and pacy with (on a limited budget) some excellent special effects.
