Movie review

From Time Out Film Guide

AIP biker movie in which plastic Chris Noel ('I just want something more than being a Stomper's girl') gets herself kidnapped by a rival gang and sparks off a series of fantasies of varying violence among Dennis Hopper's boys. Hopper ogles Noel's reincarnation of high school days, while his younger brother (Reader) dreams of meaningful love (and gets run over by a primitive hulk for his pains). While its framework is that of a Western, the film sticks relentlessly to its B picture format, successfully exuding an atmospheric haze. There's the sad sight, though, of Jock Mahoney (erstwhile Tarzan and Range Rider, famous for vaultingon to his horse back in the '50s) so aged he can scarcely straddle his machine.
