GoBots: Battle of the Rocklords (1986)
Director: Ray Patterson, Don Lusk, Alan Zaslove
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Whatever evil lurks in the dark corners of the galaxy, have no fear: the GoBots are there - a new line of toys from the Tonka corporation, now starring in their first feature-length animated advertisement by Hanna-Barbera. Leader One and the GoBots are faced with a dangerous mission. Cy-Kill, the renegade GoBot, has travelled through the dimensions of hyperspace to the planet Quartex to join forces with the evil Magmar (voice by Savalas). There, where inanimate rocks have the ability to transform themselves into living, breathing anthropomorphic forms, Magmar seeks to take the planet by force, and the GoBots aim to stop him. Save your pennies and watch the GoBots on TV instead.Author: SGo
