The Godsend (1980)
Director: Gabrielle Beaumont
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
There's more than a hint of The Omen in this horror movie about a family that is slowly destroyed by a little girl they adopt after her mother has mysteriously vanished. Despite some moments of artfully sustained menace, and the fact that both little girls playing the cuckoo-child look superbly malevolent, the script by Olaf Pooley rapidly becomes stilted, and the narrative development makes little sense.
