Goodbye Emmanuelle (1977)
Director: François Leterrier
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
This awful episode in the Emmanuelle saga takes a curious moral turn. When one of her passing fancies calls her a whore, her only recourse is to fall in love with him. The double standard evident in previous adventures - where Kristel portrays a woman apparently choosing to practice sexual freedom, while in fact being savagely exploited - is dropped. Suddenly it's all jealousy, privacy and tears around bedtime. Much agony, low on ecstasy.Author: JS
