Good Guys Wear Black (1977)
Director: Ted Post
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Whether taken as a cynical companion to prestigious Hollywood Vietnam movies, a twisting political conspiracy, or a starring vehicle for world karate champion Chuck Norris, this complicated action caper hovers between OK and mediocre. A mysterious spate of assassinations follow a top secret US raid into North Vietnam, with veteran Norris suspecting that they were set up by corrupt politicians as part of an expedient deal with the reds to end the war. Norris ties it all up and biffs sense into those too yellow to own up in a post-Watergate world where expediency is all, and honour is a dirty word. A successor to Go Tell the Spartans from the studiously unsentimental Post. DMacp.Author: DMacp
